Professor Golubka Necevska-Cvetanovska is an associate of Project Engineering and a professor emeritus from the Department for Building Structures and Materials at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (IZIIS) in Skopje, Macedonia. She is a structural engineer, whose research has been focused on the analysis and design of building structures in compliance with different regulations; dynamic nonlinear analysis of building’s performance; evaluation of seismic resistance of newly designed and existing RC buildings; definition of actual strength and deformability capacity of existing RC buildings; repair and strengthening of buildings; evaluation of damage caused by earthquakes and vulnerability of structures; elaboration of technical regulations, standards and codes; development of a methodology for application of high strength concrete; implementation of European Technical Regulations in the field of civil engineering and harmonization with the Macedonian regulations (Eurocodes – particularly Eurocode 2, Eurocode 3 and Eurocode 8).
