Jordan Bojadjiev is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at the International Balkan University in Skopje, Macedonia and the closest associate to Project Engineering. Has six years’ experience in academia after more than 10 years spent in structural engineering design as a main structural engineer and consultant. Holds a PhD in earthquake engineering focused on experimental investigation on shaking table tests for the influence of the infilled frames on Reinforced Concrete frame structures. Results-oriented professional proficient in developing simple and innovative solutions for building structures and civil infrastructure. Passionate to transfer his unique experience/knowledge from industry to academia. Highly motivated to pursue design and consultancy services in the structural earthquake engineering community.
His interest is in Nonlinear analysis of Structures, Performance-Based Design, High-rise Buildings, Infill wall RC Frames, Structural analysis and design of RC and Steel Structures, Design Codes, Earthquake Resistant Structures, Bridge Engineering, Structural Dynamics, Seismic Performance, Shaking table tests.
